How We Can Help
Federal firearm rights restoration
Federal law provides a process for seeking relief from certain firearm disabilities under 18 U.S.C. § 925(c). We review your circumstances, identify relevant records, and help prepare an application with supporting information. Eligibility, application availability, and the evidence required depend on the applicable rules and your individual history. Relief is not automatic.
NICS denial challenges and record corrections
A firearm background-check denial does not always mean the underlying information is accurate. Missing court dispositions, mistaken identity, or other record errors may need to be addressed. We help evaluate the reason for a denial and the appropriate steps to challenge it or seek correction of the underlying records.
Eligibility and records review
Federal and state firearm restrictions can overlap. We review the records and legal issues relevant to your circumstances so you can understand whether you need restoration, a record correction, or further legal review before proceeding.

Gun Rights Restoration Questions
Does living in Texas mean federal firearm restrictions do not apply?
No. Federal and Texas law must both be considered. A conclusion about your rights under one does not necessarily resolve restrictions under the other.
Is correcting a NICS record the same as restoring gun rights?
No. Correcting an inaccurate record addresses the accuracy of the background-check information. Restoration seeks relief from a legal restriction. We help determine which issue your situation presents.
Will federal restoration remove every restriction?
No. Federal relief does not automatically remove separate state-law restrictions. Your circumstances should be reviewed before you possess or attempt to purchase a firearm.
Can you help someone outside Texas?
Reclaim Gun Rights offers representation in federal restoration matters nationwide. Dustin is licensed in Texas; representation outside Texas is limited to federal matters before the U.S. Department of Justice. State-law issues may require counsel licensed in the relevant state.
